Shinoe offers Total Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Solutions
Shinoe systems are equipped with 3, 4 & even 5 stages of air purification processes; which effectively filter & purify the indoor airspace from bio aerosols, VOCs & particulates that can contribute to human respiratory diseases.
Air filtration alone is but ONE PART of the Air Purification process.
A conventional HEPA and/or active carbon air filter/cleaner traps particulates, while a total solution air purifier filters, sanitises & sterilises indoor airspaces (Shinoe PCO or UVGI for instance).
Photocatalytic Oxidisation has the power to DESTROY particles as small as 0.001 microns.
Whereas conventional HEPA filters can only FILTER particles as small as 0.3 microns.
A bacteria’s WIDTH ranges from 0.2 to 1 micron.
A parasitic virus is about 100 times smaller than a bacteria.
Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation (UVGI) is a sterilising disinfection method that uses short-wavelength ultraviolet (UVC) light to kill or inactivate bacteria & viruses by destroying nucleic acids & disrupting their DNA, leaving them unable to perform vital cellular functions.
UVC light can be harmful to the eyes & skin with prolonged DIRECT exposure; & may result in possible adverse health effects.
Hence through the mechanical air induction of untreated air into our Shinoe Tech™ air purifiers, our Inbuilt UVGI sterilizers are able to safely destroy various bacteria & viruses; such as the novel coronaviruses, H1N1, HFMD & mold spores.
Do note that all our UVC lamps produce less than/= to 0.05ppm of Ozone/O3 & are within approved safety limits.
Shinoe Tech inbuilt UVGI sterilizer process uses UVC germicidal 254nm wavelength, which is the most effective in penetrating the cell membrane & breaking the DNA structure of micro-organism.
Shinoe Patented UV Germicidal Irradiation (UGVI) kills bacteria & viruses by disrupting its DNA & preventing them from multiplying, thus preventing mass replication & virus colonization, helping to prevent possible infection at the onset.

The process generates ionised, charged molecules that electrostatically ‘magnetise’ & trap airborne dust & pollutants (PM2.5/10/1).
By removing dust & pollutants from the air you breathe, STI improves air quality & reduces the amount of particles that enter your lungs.
Hence the indoor air is cleaner & fresher.
SHINOE Patented (STI) ioniser electrically generates negative-charged ions, that ‘magnetise & cluster’ with airborne pollutants & dust particulates, creating mass & weight.
Shinoe activated carbon filter is treated to create a ‘netting’ of multiple micro profusions. This vastly increases its surface area, creating innumerable micro pores for VOCs/ toxic gases to be trapped & filtered.
Activated carbon is extremely effective as a filter against smells, foul odours & benzene (from cigarette smoke).
Just 1 gram of activated carbon has a surface area in excess of 500 m2.
Activated carbon filters are more effective when used in combination with other processes (stage 1-3).
This is as it is not as effective at removing airborne particulates.
